Psalm of the Day
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.

He Saw… He Came… He Gave.

Jesus saw us here today before He came to this earth.
He saw the world and it's decay, long before His birth.

He saw the destruction and the violence and the broken homes too.
He saw His creation falling apart, He saw, and He knew what He had to do.

He could have started over, He could have saved Himself a lot of pain.
Instead He reached down into this darkness, and as a light He came.

He gave it all up. He could carry the oceans in the palm of His hand.
He gave it all up to be made small, as small as a tiny grain of sand.

Placed in the womb of a young virgin girl, who's name was Mary.
I wonder if she knew how heavy a load of love she would carry.

Within the baby born on that star lit night long before our time,
was the redeeming blood that would be shed for your sin and for mine.

Born in a manger with no fine linen, no golden scepter, not even crown.
Not born in a hospital of a big city but somewhere in the outskirts of town.

He could have had a family of wealth and rich with gold.
Instead he came to save us all, be it young or old.

He could have created a people, who at His command would rejoice.
Instead He loved us so much that He gave us all the choice.

He could have stayed home and felt comfort and not betrayal.
Instead He chose to hold His hands out for the nails.

No matter the conditions at His birth, He had a mission in mind.
To give it all up, to come here to be the Ultimate Sacrifice for all of mankind.
