Walking alone in darkness
Unconcerned with no belief
So swiftly times are passing
In your hours of defeat
Dreaming of days in youth
When but a child at play
When a child you thought of manhood
Not so many years away
But today you look at life
In a most unusual way
Yes you’re walking in darkness
With a cruel world at your side
A poverty stricken world
Which is living but to die
A world of mass confusion
Knowing not which way to turn
A world of sin and strife
With nothing to be gained
Rivers of blood are flowing
The sun is turning black
Men and women are dying
In the streets upon their backs
What are you going to do
At the sound of gnashing teeth
Walking alone in darkness
In a world of unbelief
Believe in but one
Let Jesus be your Guide
Let Him into your heart
There always to abide
